Vidushi Kalyani S  Kumar is by profession a Software Engineer and by passion a  Bharatanatyam artiste. My 8 yr old daughter Akanksha has been learning Bharatanatyam  under her tutelage for the last few months. Along with her many other girl students are also receiving training in this form of dance under her. Teaching dance to young children is a tough job.  Recognising  the mental abilities  of the children, coming down to their level and teaching dance is her main strength which needs to be respected and applauded. Being a child with the children while teaching them dance she also addresses the important aspects required to shape their personality. For any form of education to receive its value a good foundation is necessary. In this direction Kalyani possesses the right mentality and dedication. In her teaching in relation to this art she keeps in touch with the recent trends. We the parents and audience have no doubt that Kalyani will turn out to be an excellent dance teacher.

Bharatanatyam is one of the oldest classical dance forms of India which reflects the culture of India. We are happy that our daughter Dhanyashree has been receiving training in this art  form  at  the NrithyaKalyani School of Dance under Guru Kalyani S Kumar. We are thankful to her for her dedication and  the patience with which she pays individual attention to each student in helping then attain perfection. She is a teacher whom parents should look forward to, to receive training in this art form.

Kalyani is an excellent, vibrant classical Bharathnatyam teacher. She is a very loving, caring beautiful lady as well. I came to know about Kalyani through one of my friend's who is Kalyani’s cousin. I was looking for a Bharathnatyam teacher for my daughter as her local dance class was stopped due to her teacher’s pregnancy. As soon as my friend told me about Kalyani, at first I was not so comfortable with the online classes especially for Bharathnatyam. After a few interactions with Kalyani and few lessons through Skype I am now much more comfortable, extremely glad to get to know Kalyani and have her as my daughter’s teacher. Kalyani’s energy and passion for dance is exceptional. I met her in person when I visited India this summer and I can tell that she is multi-talented and an excellent teacher.

Thank you Kalyani, for giving my child the confidence and guiding her through her dance journey.  I wish Kalyani the best in her endeavor.
